I have always enjoyed bike riding and always dreamed about bike touring. I did a few small ones in the past, and since February 2014, when I discovered geocaching, all my bike trips became „Geocaching Bike Trips” (GBT). Some of my first GBTs were to Egeskov, Kerteminde or Middlefart.

In June 2014 I took the decision to go by bike across Europe. And so my dream of cycle touring became real in a Geocaching Bike Trip across Europe.

GBTE2014 was by far the most challenging trip I ever made. Heading by myslef into the unknown, I left Odense on June 30, 2014 only to return there in September, ending this geocaching summer madness, with an event cache made especially for it: GC5B5WN.

I wrote a bit every day, trying to keep updates. Here you can find all the stories from my days cycling from Denmark to France.
